Lylewood Facilities

Lylewood has been growing and evolving over the years to enhance our facilities and ensure that our camp remains one of the best and most affordable places to rent in the area.

Swimming Pool

Our 20′ x 40′ swimming pool is open from May to September and offers plenty of space for fun camp activities. With a 4′ shallow end and an 8′ deep end, it’s perfect for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.

Activity Facilities

Lylewood offers a variety of locations around the camp to host activities, games, and crafts. These include two full basketball courts, a tennis court, a volleyball court, a swimming pool, a fire pit, a game center, a craft closet, and an open field perfect for games and outdoor activities.

George Shelton Dining Hall

The George Shelton Dining Hall is a 3,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility, equipped with 12 eight-foot stackable tables and 120 stackable chairs. This versatile space can be used for dining, crafts, activities, classes, small groups, and even worship.

Full Commercial Kitchen

Lylewood’s dining hall features a fully equipped 1,000 sq. ft. commercial kitchen, complete with two gas ovens, a 6-burner gas stove, a gas cooktop, a deep fryer, a food warmer, a walk-in cooler, a commercial dishwasher, and all the essential tools needed to prepare meals for your event.

Our Cabins

Lylewood has 8 cabins for campers, with a capacity to sleep up to 100 people, and an additional cabin for staff, accommodating up to 10 staff members. Each cabin is equipped with two full bathrooms, as well as heating and air conditioning for added comfort.

Learning Locations

While any location around camp can be used for teaching and preaching the Word of God, there are a few spots that are particularly suited for these activities. These include ‘The Roof,’ a large pavilion above the dining hall with pre-arranged stadium seating; the gazebo; the fire pit; and, of course, the “George Shelton Dining Hall.”
